Seat Foam Woes 200 1990

Hello fellow brick owners...

I've got a bad case of seat foam woes on the drivers side of my 1990 245DL. I know I can replace the seat foam with new foam from IPD or Volvo but I'm too cheap. The passenger side seat is in excellent shape.

Should I take both seats out and switch seat foam. I am the only person in the car for approximately 90% of driving.

I will be in Portland in a few weeks and could pick up seat foam at IPD.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
