Found the Tingling 740-760 1990

ICQ>

Thanks, Abe, for the response to my wierd noise problem. Another close search and I discovered the mid (no. 2) fuel line support grommet had pulled loose from the belly of the car, allowing the line to come in contact with the drive shaft whenever the suspension depressed. The balancing weight had just about dug a hole through the fuel line. I'm not sure how those grommets clip on the body, but it looks as though I might have to take out the back seat to reattach it somehow.

While under the car, I noticed two black foam stips hanging down on each side of the gas tank. The left hand one laying in the trailing arm and the right hand one was just hanging straight down next to the drive shaft. What do they do? Are they cuishins from above tank? (Between tank and body) Can I just cut them off?

Thanks Again!
