Lack of high speed power 740ti 700 87

Well I guess it's my turn. My car has plenty of power and boost at lower speeds, like 35 mph in second gear when I step on it it flies. BTW, I have the boost turned way up. But when I'm at 60 on up and step on it, the boost guage gets buried at 5:00 but the car dosen't seem to respond to all that boost. I've looked at every hose and checked for vacuum leaks, none found. Also In tank pump is only a year old as is the main pump and filter. although the filter probably has about 50,000 mi. on it. Plugs, rotor, cap and wires are relativly new. any help would be great. Thanks.

Rick, Napa Valley Ca. 87 740ti totally IPD'D and fast.
