installing brake master cylinder 200 1990

I'm replacing the original master brake cylinder on a 1990 245 dl, without ABS. Are there any secret tips I need to know. Or...Do I just

bolt it on and bleed it?

How have ya'll cleaned the resevior of old junk? One side is reachable, the

other not so easily wiped out.

Is Bench bleeding needed/helpful?

The last master brake cylinder I put on was a 1950 Studebaker. and I

dont remember those times well.

thanks

phil Gfell
