new dashpad adhesive 120-130 67

The new dashpad fits extremely well. I have installed it temporarily so that it gets used to it's new location. It appears that the original dashpad was adhered with some sort of contact cement. Does anyone else have recommendations as to type of cement to use. As others mentioned, it seems to be a questioon of adhering minmally to allow movement without cracking, or adhering as much as possible to avoid any movement. Also, what to people recommend as protective coating to maintain vinyl's flexibility? It there anything other than armorall? I prefer the matte finish as opposed to the shiny residue armorall leaves, but don't know what else to use.
