cutting out under boost 200 84

I just got my car back from the exhaust shop today. I had a custom 2.5" turbo back system made, using a dynomax high-flo cat and a hooker max-flow muffler. It sounds nice its quiet, has a nice deep tone. I noticed today when I was having some fun breaking in the new exhaust that my car would surge, it felt like it was just bucking and cutting out, kinding of like I was hitting the fuel cut off Im currently running 12.5-13psi and bleeding to 12. My a/f gauge also reads zero when it starts bucking. Its not always happening at full boost though. I noticed sometimes was occuring at 7-8 psi and not necassarily at wot. Am I hitting my fuel cut off, and if so isn't there a way to adjust the solenoid? Or could the solenoid be going bad or do I possibly have another problem? any info or advice would be appreciated

its an 84 242 turbo with the factory turbo +'
