Electronic Ignition 140-160 1970

I want to put a simple electronic ignition in my 70 144 B20 distributor. I called IPD and they sell the Petronix (sp?) module that replaces your points which is exactly what I'm looking for. The first question they asked me was if my distributor was cast iron or aluminum. I couldn't tell so they told me to put a magnet on it and it stuck so I guess it's cast iron.:-) Then they asked me if it was a 003 dist. I looked at the number and it ended in something like 145 (or was it 148), so it's obviously not a 003. I have 2 of these cars and they both have the same original distributor and neither is a 003. IPD said they don't sell a Petronix module for my dist. and that I should either go with the other electronic ign. they sell (which I don't like because it's more complicated and uses an ugly seporate box with a bunch of wires...this is not a chevy!) or get a used 003 dist. Does anyone know of a product like Petronix that will work with the stock Bosh 145 dist? I just want to get rid of the points. Is the Bosh 003 a better distributor?
