Bosal was/is an OEM manufacturer for Volvo. Meaning: orignnally, Bosal made the exhaust that Volvo put on the car at manufacture (and as replacement parts, probably)

It's good stuff.

Starla was a Sweedish maker, now owned by Walker. They are aftermarket. Imitators of the design. (Although now Volvo uses them as OEM equivalent, but I suspect that's for the new models)

Most folks here report the Bosal being beefier steel compared with the Walker.

I have dwon pipes in each brand. Bosal is definitely better quality.

I do like the Starla clamps, though.
