Annoying and breaking. dam 700 1989

Hey there. I, for the most part, love my 740GL. It treats me well, and I take good care of it. I am just kinda sick of the funny noises it makes all the time. I have a loud buzzing sound that gets really annoying and I feel it is affecting the engine's performance. The noise begins at around 2-3,000 rpm's and stops when it is down around 1-1500. When I race the engine to find where it starts and stops, I feel as if it is coming from the driver's right, and it is really, really loud. By driver's left, I mean from behind the wheel. I am really confused at this, and so is my mechaninc. Im thinking it may be a loose connection, or loose mount.

Any help, or if yours had the same thing happen, please respond. Anything will help, Im at a loss here. Thanks in advance.
