Re: K&N Filter 140-160 1972

Leo, thanks for the advice. Going straight into Portland, arriving midnight this coming Saturday - going to drop in the electronic ignition and head back east. Sweet little 1972 142 w/ rebuilt engine with 12k miles...pretty much stock.

If the K&N filter fits on the intake manifold, what happens with that whole filter housing with the air pressure sensor and the fuel control unit? Does that become unnecessary? I'm sure the fuel distriutor is still necessary - what happens to it?
