Easier trans fluid flushing procedure? 200 87

I want to do the complete trans fluid flush on my '87 240 w/auto so I searched the archives for procedures. All I found was the "hook up a tube to the trans line at the radiator, drain 2 quarts, add 2 quarts" option. I thought that I had seen a method listed here where both lines were removed at the radiator, tubes were attached, with one tube sucking up new fluid from a container of fresh fluid while the other pushed out the old fluid into a waste jug.

Is this true, or has the beer damaged those brain cells?

Thanks.
