Yesterday afternoon I climbed into my 92 960 to make a quick run the the airport to pick up a ticket and the AC never kicked in during 15 minute drive there. That is, although the automatic climate control sensed that it was hot in the car, turned it to recyle, as is typical, and blew air at high speed, the air never got cool, not even close. I tried changing the temp position, etc, but to no avail. When I started the car in the airport garage, the AC kicked in once again. This has happend once before, but all other aspects of the climate control appear to work fine.
It is partly city driving, but mostly expressway. The day in Baltimore was typical August weather, but nothing extreme, maybe high 80's with humidity. The car is parked outside and I had not driven it since the evening before, so the egine was cold. The AC worked fine then.
Any ideas of where to begin? I remember a similar problem with a brickster here, but that was Texas and I think the car was at running temp, but I can't recall all the details. I know this will be a service call, but I'd like to know what it could be.
