Engine Cutting out 200 83

As of yesterday my 83 245 with the chrysler ign. has started cutting out. So far it has been happening at low rpm's - just around town. The tach drops instantly, seems to be at 0 before the engine has wound down. Each time it has restarted easily. I checked the 700 FAQ for ideas and it says the power stage and rpm sender cause this. So I guess the rpm sender = the hall sensor on mine, but I don't know if the power stage applies to my model.

I have replaced the wiring harnesses on this car so they are not at the top of my list of suspicions.

I plan to do some more checking in a day or two, but am wondering if anyone has any suggestions of likely faults.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Joe
