The soft glow of the Brake Failure light... 200 83

So the other evening I'm driving home from the grocery store, and I notice my Brake Failure warning light is faintly (very faintly) glowing. When I get home, I check it out - the brakes didn't feel funny, fluid level was good, no leaks from the distribution block or elsewhere (practically the whole braking system has been replaced in the past year), electrical connection to the pressure differential switch seemed sound. I suspected maybe crumbling insulation, and so I tugged and pulled the wiring harness, but to no avail - still the soft glow persisted. Then I pulled the wire from the switch to rule out either the switch itself or the wiring - light went out. So it's the @#$%^&*! switch...

Anybody experience this before? Is my only recourse to replace the distribution block?
