engine shutting down 700 88

Hi there,

I have a 1988 Volvo 740 GLE, It has approx. 150k miles,

I purchased this car about 7 months ago, No real major problems until

I noticed the car shutting down, it happen while driving 3 times in one day.

After I let it rest for a while, It will start up with no problem.

I have a feeling that something is going but I don't know what it is.

I have parked this and I am afread to drive it. Thinking about trading it in,

But before I do, Could this be a minnor problem like a relay switch or something. I also just had a new stero put in, dont know if that has anything to do with the problem
