Water leaking inot behind drivers seat 200 1987

It has finally rained in Arkansas (>60 days since last real precip). And guess what? Water has appeared behind the driver's seat where I just carved out a canyon in the floor pan and replaced the metal floor with a stainless steel mesh and fiber glass floor (6"x25"). This is the first time since buying the car (July 1998) that I have driven it in the rain. No rain entered the car when it was parked, 'cause I have been checking this area. The floor mat was not wet on top, so I surmise that the water is coming from the bottom, or is forced in past the door seals when at speed, but how? I sealed every hole in the bottom with fiber glass, resin filler, then 3 coats of undercoating. The door seals are in good shape and no water maks are seen along the doors. The A/C drain line is working fine and no water is in the front passenger side.

Please help, if this continues it may get to the seat mounts and the drive shaft support bolts.

Tom
