Leo,

The plastic teeth will have 18, 19 or 20 teeth (which are red, orange or black), there is a worm gear on the output shaft of the gearbox. It will have 6 or 7 teeth. I think 6:19 ratio = 3.73:1 diff ratio. The rest of the speedo ratio tuning is on the speedo itself, it caters for minor variations as far as tyre diameter etc..There will be quite a bit of drag pulling out the SDG, as the seal will have swelled.
