You probably will solve your leak with a new windshield and a new moulding, since you seem to have pinpointed an area. They are known to develop leaks. I would love to have a new windshield on my 200,000 mile 83 242T just because the present one is so pitted that in direct sunlight on a sunny day it is hard to see through.

I am sure you know that the AC drain leaks sometimes onto the passenger floor.. That the sunroof leaks and drips down the A pillers and down the side of the dash to the fuse box area or further forward. That the rubber grommets in the firewall may not be properly plugged. That the driver's side floor vent could have lost some of its sealant. That there is another, sealed floor vent on the passenger side behind the computer that could leak.
