hehehe.. I got mine for $500, with some minor body work needed on the passenger's side between the fender and the door (small bump), it had a "cracked block". honed the cylinders a little, and alas, there was no crack to be found (i hate it when that happens ;)). But the head gasket was blown in two places: between 2&3, and behind 4, where water was leaking out. about $100 later, i have a very nice 760 Ti to complement my nice 740 GLE. I need to do the brakes next (abs doesn't work, but i havent looked into it yet, there are some minor wiring issues). Had brand new tail light clusters (both sides) nice black leather interior, etc etc.

made my friend envious, now he wants one. Two days later i'm flipping through the news paper, and lo and behold theres an 89 760 with a blown head gasket/head for 800. I'm working on him now ;)

Other interesting info: an 87 volvo 760 ti is quicker than an 88-89 mr2 from 30 miles up (when he hit 3rd, i toasted his ass... stock boost, stock exhaust, etc).
