Re: B21FT IBS: Need help identifying a part... 200 1984

It is the control valve for the IBS (Intercooler Boost System). The brown wire is a ground - goes under one of the mount screws. The other wire goes to the black control box that mounts on the inner fender. One port connects to the pressure sensing line between the I/C outlet and the waste gate via a Tee fitting. The other port connects to the cast aluminum pipe between the fuel distributor and the turbo compressor inlet. The valve is closed below 3750 rpm, then opens to allow additional boost. Needs little black control box and wire harness to connect to coil for rpm sensing and to fusebox for power.
