ECU Faiure update - making contact(s) 200 91

After research my brains out........I decided to buy some contact cleaner and go after the ecu plug and the amm connection and will do others. Anyways - cleaned 'em thoroughly and it seems to be running fine over the last couple of days. A couple of hours running and no stall. The que was talking to a garage I mentioned I had unplugged the ECU and re-connected it and it seemed to run "fine". The guy on the other end of the phone said - "you got bad connections - clean 'em". Still not 100% confident it's fixed, but you gotta wonder. I'll report back soon with progress, but it seems that as per the FAQ and other help, the following is evident;

1) ECU's are not prone to intermittent failure, they just FAIL

2) In the electronic world of milliamps, connections are prone to dirt, heat, and various other maladies

3) Diagnosing this type of thing is extremely difficult (by the way, I have never got an "ECU failure" code (112 - I think)

4) THe Brickboard is an amazing resource.

I now am thoroughly versed in fuel injection systems (I think)
