This sound right? 200 1983

Simply trying to decide if this is the correct part, I've had no luck in finding a proper name or part number for it.. running from the AMM to the intake manifold. Is this called the "Fresh Air Hose"?

Thanks in Advance.

And why I have your attention (hopefully).

anyone comment on how hard it might be to replace an' air conditioning compressor in a 1983 242 GLT. The one I currently have knocks really bad, making it sound like the engine is on the verge of blowing up.. But it works fine still.. truely puzzling.
