Starting Problem 200 1987

Hi,

Had a problem last week and was wondering if it's a common/well known one. Drove to work one morning, no problem, dry weather. It turned into a rainy, windy day. Didn't try starting the car for 12 hours(long day). Upon leaving, car wouldn't start. Had spark from coil, didn't seem to be geting fuel. Too dark & cold to do anything else, so hitched a ride home. Went to the car next day, and started right up! Can someone give me a a list of things to check? Not sure if it's related, but with the colder weather, noticed slow accel for first 5 minutes or so. Thanks for the help!
