Re: Metal ball bearing in Airbox? 200 82

A 3/16" ball bearing is used to seal the CO adjustment screw port in order to make the car compliant with mixture adjustment anti-tamper laws (the ones that got idle mixture screws covered on 81 and later cars).

I bet that it was driven down into housing, which is the typical way to do it, in order for someone to adjust the CO at some point.
