work here at cisco and opened it up. pretty simple, two

transistors a relay and an nec chip we identified as a

low powr oscillator/timer chip. Thats probably why the other

Mike is only getting heat once whereas with my jumper I

get heat whenever I flip the switch. I'll let you know

about retrofitting a higher temp button thermo ala the

240 style. these are available in a wide range of cut off

temps, from various vendors (volvo uses elmwood of

providence ri)
