bulb failure light: 200 1987

I just replaced the taillights on my 240 and the bulb failure light goes on. It remains on untill I depress the break,when I let off it the break it lights up again, however, if Im using my blinker it will remain on even if I depress the brake. Yes, I checked all the lights and none are burned out.
