Re: Windshield and Headliner 1800 73

Removing the headliner is easy. First unscrew the sun visors and the sun visor clips. The mirror pulls off and the bracket can then be unscrewed. Remove the plastic lens from the dome lights and unscrew them. The edges around the entire perimeter of the headliner have a solid plastic sewn in that is pushed in under a metal strip. You can remove this by simply pulling it out. This will expose about five metal bars that are slipped into a strip across the roof side of the headliner, these can be snapped down then pulled out from the edges. You can get a replacement headliner from JC Whitney for about $90. I haven't seen it so I can't vouch for what it looks like. This is all easier than it sounds.

Good luck,
