these past weeks my kick down cable has given me some problems... occasionally the cable gets stuck and the cars automatic transmission doesnt shift....kinda like when i ress the gas pedal full trottle the gears stays in longer.. but i can be driving slow and the car will not shift and stay reving high... How do you take the kick down cable off... I have never seen the undercarriage of the car where the kick down cable connects to the trans...so any help on how to remove the cable is a great help...i was using oil to help solve the problem but that only seems temporary... fine for a few days then stuck again... i want to take the cable off and clean the wire and put white lithum grease cause it will stay and not go away like oil....I just need some help on the removal of the cable.
