Could this be another occasion to buy another "tool"? I have a timing

light, but an ignition scope sounds technical and expensive.

I drove the car today for work to Abington, and it ran like a sewing

maching. The problem with the first start of the day is puzzling,

especially after I must have started it ten times today without

a problem.

BTW, I think you are right about the bulb failure light, which

looks like a double loop wire on this instrument panel. The old

panel said "bulb failure", which is how it is described

in the manual I have.

The lambda sond doesn't apply to my car, does it?

Thanks

Larry
