Water in Air Intake System Bad? 200 90

Did a mod on my air intake system. Normal intake tube, which pointed up and slightly toward the radiator was rerouted. Now have 90 degree plumbing rubber coupler attached to air box inlet, pointing down, and the tube attached to the coupler with the 90 deg. bend in that now pointing forward. Have duct taped screen matl. around opening. Opening is about 3" down and 3" behind bottom back end of bumper. Pre-heat opening in airbox now has attached flexible pre-heat tube with about 15" of it snaked between engine fan and engine block before it goes thru a hole I cut thru the belly pan and points fwd. Same screen deal for this inlet, which is about 3" below and 5" behind center front of belly pan. It's about 18" behind back and bottom of bumper. Am confident rain water falling doesn't get directly sucked into both intakes. But, rain water thrown up from car in front I know makes it in. Airbox has K&N filter.

Now the question is: Is water mist passing thru the air mass meter and/or the intake vales a bad thing?

I've heard about cleaning carbon deposits on valves by squirting windshield wiper water thru intake, but this comes in behind air mass meter and probably is something you do every 5 years. I don't really think I'm getting more than a mist,if anything, hitting the air mass meter cause (1) I've got both intakes well away from direct rainwater ingestion (2) 3 90 degree bends in the std air intake before air hits K&N filter and about 18" of smooth, but up sloped intake tubing using the pre-heat entry in the air box before it hits the air filter. I could put part of rag in airstream at junction of airbox and hose that leads to air mass meter. Drive it in worse circumstances (65 MPH, in rain, close behind car on highway) and then re-open junction and see if rag is wet. But I also value your opinions out there.

TIA
