Starting, battery related problem 900 93

Here's my story....car had dead battery, proved to be dead cell...replaced battery....four days later, new battery dies....charging system checked out at time of new battery installation, all OK.....only variable in all this is that SRS idiot light went on a few weeks ago, cost to repair $1800.00; I declined the repair....question is: could SRS system be causing a draw on battery causing it to dis-charge, or can you think of something else that might be causing a draw???...Is it more likely that the new battery was bad at the get-go???...thanxxxxx
