check engine light S90-V90 1996

Hi:

Well, I tried to clean the throttle body tonite with the gumout throttle body cleaner. What I managed to do was cause the check engine light to come on! Is there an easy way to reset the light?

I might add that the remove the intake hose and spray while the engine is running did not work (caused high and rough idle). How do you guys clean the throttle body on the 960? I also tried to find the flame trap while I was there but couldn't find it. I did see something that was attached to the side of the throttle body intake hose, but it had one of those semipermanent clamps on it. Can you tell me where the flame trap is and how to clean it?

I appreciate all the help!

Mike
