Car won't start! 200 1984

Hello, all. I have a situation that i could use some assistance on. I have stashed my bible (Haynes Manual) in storage with the rest of my books behind everything else that I own. OOps!

Anyhow my car had been stalling the past two weeks just after i start it up in the a.m. Well just last night it stalled and will not turn over. It wants to although something from the starter to the engine is having complication and not allowing it to fire up. If there are any basic starting points that i should look at to get my Brick back up and running I could use the advise.
