Headliner not quite dead, but close (744) 700 1990

My headliner is sagging completely in the back where the roof is raised a little. The fabric is just away from the foam. Should I just take the headliner down and glue the fabric back to the foam or do I need to replace the whole thing? I know its quite a job to do as it is, so should I just replace to save the hassel in a few months if the glue doesnt hold.
