Turbo Wheels paint and refinishing 200 1987

I'm trying to restore a set of turbo wheels and I'm wondering if anyone knows what color to paint them? I'd prefer to use a spray gun, that is how I do all my other wheels and that seems to lay out the best. To clean them up I've been using a bead-blaster but it is taking forever. Is there any other way to clean them? There is alot of crud down in the cracks around the spokes.

Oh one more question. Instead of painting them back to the original silver alloy look, how bout going white? Mines an 87 Med. Blue 240. Its like the 3rd car on the gallery. Give me some words of advice. Oh, if theres a difference I'd prefer the coloring of later alloy wheels. Maybe every turbo wheel I see is just faded.
