SRS warning light/horn push 200 '92

I bought a '92 240 SE wagon the other day because I wanted the ABS for the '82. It is however a bit silly to dismantle it given the fact that it totally rust free and never crashed.

However the SRS light is on, and the horn doesn't work

(plus a load od other irritants).

There is a supply to the horn at the front. How does the horn pad on the steering wheel come off. I don't really want to set off the airbag and have never owned an SRS equipped Volvo before. The SRS light won't reset from the point in the centre console. As I understand it the SRS light measures the continuity in the circuit, so I wondered if it could be a ground problem on the steering column?

Regards
