Just passing on a tip (several, actually):

Tip 1 - The Haynes manual lists removing the radiator as a required step for removing the A/C condensor. I figured out that you don't have to do this if you simply remove the hood latch plate: then the condensor lifts right out.

Tip 2 - If you remove and replace the hood latch plate, it's a good idea to check the latch alignment *before* you slam the hood -- I can verify that you run the risk of creating a situation where the hood will not reopen!

Tip 3 - If you fail to make a note of tip 2, a piece of rope lassoed around the rigid hood latch works wonders...after an hour of trying to get all manner of wrenches in there to loosen the latch!
