Re: Rattling when going over bumps! 200 84

Amanda -- it could be a lot of different things. Muffler/tailpipes loose? Rear suspension bushings shot? Loose/bad shock? What might be useful is to put a piece of cardboard down on the ground, crawl underneath a little bit, and have your boyfriend stand on the rear bumper and bounce the car. Better yet, have *him* lie underneath while *you* bounce the bumper. Make sure there's adequate clearance -- avoid obvious low spots. While he/you are underneath, check all the suspension nuts and bolts with your fingers to make certain that there isn't something obviously loose. Grab the suspension bars and give them a shake and twist. Obvious movement indicates bad bushings. Grab the exhaust components and shake them around. Any banging or rattling?

This shouldn't be too hard to track down.

Rob
