well er........RWD Volvos don't have transaxles.......

Yes the tranny (M or A?) needs lube swaps as does the differential.

Pretty easy either way.

If Auto do the flush with Amsoil ATF

If Manual drain and fill with Amsoil Racing ATF (Synthetic Type F)

Differential drain and fill with Series 2000 75W-90 or 75W-140.

For the M and D I use a little hand pump that fits on Amsoil bottles and pumps right in, piece of cake!!!!! You WILL see an increase in MPG if you switch to synthetic lubes......
