If you have a 340 or 360 the diff uses hypoid gear oil/ the level plug/filler is hidden behind the de-dion tube.

The gearbox uses ATF and the level filler plug is on the left hand side of the box. up in the tunnel. It is very easy to strip the thread on the level plug.

Both units have drain plugs.
