electric cooling fan 200 1991

I am a recent first time Volvo owner, and I'd like to say I'm hooked. My 91 240 has a elctric cooling fan that will not stop running after the ignition switch is turned off.I've lost one battery to this problem, and I'd like to solve this little problem.I understand there is a switch in the AC line but the dealer does not stock this switch. Also there is a relay near the strut. Right now I have to disconnect the battery when I am not driving, and I do not know if there is a fuse dedicated to this circuit or I would pull it until the problem can be solved. Sorry for being wordy! Thank you for your assistance in advance.
