Vapor lock 200 85

During the hot summer months on my way to Las Vegas,the "Baker Grade" climbs to 4500 feet my 245GLTi gets symtom's of vapor lock. I was thinking of insulating the fuel pump with spray foam?? and wraping the engine fuel lines..any thoughts?
