S90 = Crap S90-V90 1998

Hi all,

Our family has purchased an S90 from Sydney Australia and we have had this car for almost 4 years. We have had nothing but trouble with this car. What captured us into buying this was the smooth riding, extreme safety features and beutifully made seats, though it only lasted for about 8 months, after that its been all downhill.

1. We have had constant suspension problems - worn bushes, knocking noises at the front and rear of the suspension.

2. Ours tyres are being worned out within 1 year (even after alignment/balancing is performed)

3. Shaking when idle

The Volvo service is also less than satisfactory. We have taken this car to 5 different Volvo service departments and most of the engineers can hear the strange noise in the suspension area but thinks its normal. Well we've paid $80,0000 Aust Dollars for this car and you'd expect better. I been in plenty of other cars that are worth 4 times less and make no such noise.

Well thats just part of whats been going on. Theres more but I'm too tired of it all.

We've had enough of this. Looks like we've bought ourselves a lemon.
