Plugged a/c drain hose 200 88

I unplugged it last year and now it is plugged again. Last time I pulled it off the water holder under the dash and flooded the inside of the car. I had to take the seats and rugs out and they spent some time in the sun drying.

My daughter told me the a/c wa spitting at her, so I drove it to work today and found that the passenger side carpet is wet. Yippee!!!

I know when I did this last year that the end of the tube was squished together. Is it supposed to be like that? Can I do something to help it stay open? Do I need a new tube?

Thank you in advance for any advise.
