Front steering component noise 200 86

You know, you'd think disgnosing component noise would be an easy task of lifting the car, turning the wheels and finding the squawk.....

It's in the right inner tie rod.

Or the new outter tie rod.

I can hear it squawk when I pull the wheel from right to left. I can feel it in the rod and the tie rod end.

And I can't remember whether or not the noise was there before I installed the new tie rod ends.....

Tried greasing the inner tie rod knucle, but it didn't help. the new TRW ends have grease in them (I checked)

Whe the inner tie rod goes bad, can it squawk, as if dry?
