Overdrive questions ALL 1970

I have a 1970 1800E and currently the overdrive is not staying engaged when the switch is flipped. I was looking thru the archives and was wondering, what years and models have the same OD? It sits behind a M410 trans., if that matters. But what old posts should I heed and what should I ignore? Thank you in advance.
