Adjusting power windows 200 89

Got my car back from the body shop and they had to straighten the front door's window channel. The window works in the usual glacial Volvo manner, but today it got off-track, and it took removing the speaker and prying it gently with a long screwdriver to get it back in.

It was outside the front track, and while I was playing I noticed that the window goes way low in the door, maybe 2" below the sill. I'm wondering if raising it would help, but I'm concerned about the way it will fit when it's up, since the channel has been reshaped a bit.

Is it pretty easy to adjust the window placement, or is it very complicated? Is it better to have a helper? Any tips to make it easier?

Got a Pilkington windshield, btw, and it's very nice. Like driving a new car.
