242 rear seat in a 142? 140-160 73

I have recently acquired an '80 242GT. I would like to move the seats into my 73 142.

I have figured out how to use 1974 14x front seat frames to mount the '80 front seats.

But can I swap in the rear seat as well? Anybody tried it?
