Re: Starting Problem - 6 Volt 120-130 1960

Thanks for the suggestions Paul, Al & Pete: I failed to mention that I also replaced the factory ground braded wire and the hot lead to the starter with generic parts, but no luck. I'll try the duplicate battery to engine block later today and I plan to inspect all other related wires for problems. I will only contemplate a 12V conversion when all else fails or parts become impossible to find. I have lots of 6V spares to help problem solve with for the time being - 4 extra generators, 2 starters, voltage regulator, wiper motor, fan motor, tonnes of 6V bulbs. Thanks again and do follow my progress....Cam
