A few things to check for the od not working... The relay is probably

the easiest to check (requires the least amount of poking and prodding..)

There's also the 4th gear switch... I'm not positive how this works on the

automatic transmissions, but they have to have something that prevents it

from engaging in anything but top gear.. And the last is the wiring harness

that goes from the switch in the shifter through the hole in the transmission

hump and to the transmission. There is lots of heat and vibration in this

area, so the insulation wears as well as the wire (the wire may also

break on the inside, making a visual inspection less than reliable...)
